Our Family Business
In 1995 the Rojas Family began a start up a business to install hardwood flooring - Floor Designs of Houston. Since then the company has grown to provide our clients with a variety of flooring materials, textures and finishes. We pride ourselves on creating each home with its own unique wood floor.
In 2016 we decided to split the company and form Oak Trails. Oak Trails manufactures all types of wood flooring including reclaimed oak, and other woods with bleached, baked, beveled, hand-scraped and distressed finishes. (Floor Designs of Houston installs the flooring and completes the finish.) We also make wood tops for both cabinetry and tables. Our custom dining room tables are especially popular. While reclaimed oak is requested most often, we also make table tops out of pine, new oak, walnut and mesquite. These tops are found on dining room tables, kitchen islands and study cabinetry to name a few. These tops are made with any thickness and edge detail our customers wish. We also make stair treads and landing/balcony nosings in several different patterns. One of most popular treads is 1 1/2" thick, square-edged reclaimed oak. We can provide any style our customer desires.
